Therapeutic Response Statement (Sensitivity)

This therapeutic response statement supports the relationship that HER2-positive status confers therapeutic sensitivity to Docetaxel, Pertuzumab, Trastuzumab in patients with Invasive Breast Carcinoma.

Health Canada approved trastuzumab in combination with pertuzumab and docetaxel for the treatment of patients with HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer who have not received prior anti-HER2 therapy or chemotherapy for metastatic disease.

This statement is based on a regulatory approval from the Health Canada:

HERCEPTIN (trastuzumab for injection) can be used in combination with pertuzumab and docetaxel for the treatment of patients with HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer who have not received prior anti-HER2 therapy or chemotherapy for metastatic disease.
